Either Tintin or Spirou. Historically I've always liked Tintin more, but reading them nowdays I think they are somewhat lacking sometimes, especially the older stories.

I like Tintin better than Spirou because of the great gallery of characters in Tintin. Spirou on the other hand, has really good storytelling.

I can agree on that for sure, there aren't really a whole lot of memorable characters in Spirou. The settings are often more epic in Tintin too. But I think the stories in Spirou are better thought out and flows better, sometimes Tintin-stories just goes off on totally weird directions which while funny kinda takes away from the story as a whole.

Edit: by the way, do you have any favorite Tintin and Spirou albums?

Anyone here like XIII? It's a Franco-Belgian comic series about a secret agent. I've never read it but my roommate has the gamecube game.
