i just launched into this huuuuuge post about me arguing with this kid about consciousness and collapses of wave functions and eigenstates and the 'many-worlds interpretation' and it didn't post! fucking hell!

FYI the many worlds interpretation is a weird theory that says that no system (quantum or whatever) jumps into different eigenstates without continuity. like, it branches off.

anyway, GRRRRRRRRR that post went bye bye.

see but i don't agree with it! meh. like, if you applied that theory to us here right now, every quantum-mechanical branch off thingy in your life (like, bejillionz!) you would split into more you'd going on parallel branches that never ran into one another ever. and it would be this giant universal wave function!
