I do not have an iLok neither really know how to get one/what it is (can you use a random USB key?). Bottom line; you need an iLok for the plugin.

IIRC you don't need an iLok for this one, but you need iLok software or something like that.

Also, for some reason I have always had trouble getting Soundtoys plugins to show up in Reaper.

Also you can redeem the free offer and leave it in your soundtoys account in case you ever get an ilok.

Yes, you don't need an iLok to use this but you have to install iLok manager, and there you can choose whether
to activate the license on your iLok or your computer. Pretty awesome freebie indeed.
