Freshly treated room, new Focal's. How does it translate?

Just put up a ton of Auralex foam and got a new pair of Focal CMS50s. Still trying to "learn" them.

Opinions/criticisms welcome.

fwiw, foam isn't going to do much for your bass - lower mid range. You need bass traps (4 inch thick rigid fiberglass panels) in and around your corners to tame the bass frequencies.

cool song though. Sounds good on my laptop speakers.

I've got LENRD bass traps in all corners of room. They really make a huge difference.

Hmm, no they really don't :/ They don't do a hell of a lot of anything under about 120hz.

Unfortunately, the room layout isn't quite conducive to mondo traps (door and closet door in the corners seriously get in the way.) From the testing I've done with the mix, it seems to translate well in the car and on the home hi-fi. Are you guys hearing the bass sound out of whack?
