Yeah its still very much a great album, i dont mind crimson king but i feel its out of place as the second track, i would of prefered it last! I dont listen to that song much.
Not fond of the artwork on this one but at least it says Saxon in nice big letters and thats all i need to see!
The 2 CD version of this album is pretty much the must have for the re-recorded classics.
I really like the album as a whole, not as much as Metalhead though.
My overall favourite songs on this one:
Killing Ground (Awesome title track)
Hell Freezes over (love the intro/main riff)
You dont know what youve got
Shadows on the Wall
Actually playing Hell freezes over right now cheers wilks! have not heard it in a while.....A little while but a while none the less!!

I thought this album was spoilt by some lack of energy in songs.
The songs on this album can be split into 2 types (apart from crimson king):
.the fast ones,generaly excellent
.the sluggish ones, that you get bored of after 2 listens
Nevertheless, the track Killing Ground is one of the best Saxon songs ever

Very nice coverart..I like the Futhark charakters saying Killing ground, and Saxon. The album is good as a whole..Court of the Crimson King I don't like that much.. Shadows on the wall a good song, but thechorus sounds Horrible (From out of the sky came the .etc..) Deeds of Glory brilliant, Killing ground, I like coming home, freeses over Dragons Lair, you dont know what you got, rock is our life.. Running for the border (not a reminder.but the guitar creativity I like alot) So To me a good album..

Yeah it's still a great album. I liked it from the start and still do. The only song I didn't really like was 'Crimson', but even that one has grown on me now. My favourite is definitely 'Deeds Of Glory', great song!
