This is a custom made Lee Jackson GP1000 pre-amp, a Lee Jackson SP1000 power amp and a Jackson JE1000 gain booster in 1 rack unit, utilizing equal and superior components then the original. Let me rephrase- everything is built into the 1u rack unit. Pre amp, power amp, and gain booster.
The original lee jacksons are all approaching 30 years and have been failing for quite some time.
The GP1000 pre-amp has selectable from the 87 to 88 model eq's and distortions, extra gain stage mods and a LED clipping mod that Alexi and Roope both had on their GP1000's. You won't find these mods on any other GP1000. You toggle the different gain stages from the front. It also has a built in post-distortion EQ similar to an EQ pedal.
The SP1000 has also been faithfully reproduced in this unit and sounds awesome. All the tube tone (thanks to the soft clipping lee jackson design) in a Solid State size and weight. Even has the LED clip indicator lights on the front.
The Jackson JE1000 gain booster is also built into the unit that is bypassable if needed. It is powered from the 9v battery.
This is a custom made unit from a small shop in Poland- The creator faithfully replicated all the designs with quality components to provide a very unique unit. You can see the boards are not home made components but professionally created. It has new Tung Sol 12AX7 tubes.
