Hey dudes, pics coming tomorrow of this, but I just wanted to get it out there - this guitar has served me well for many years, but now that my Ibanez has been all set up with EMG's, the LTD has been relegated to backup duty. And since I don't foresee myself gigging regularly in the near future, and I really want a Roadster, well, it's gotta go!

Now then, this thing is NOT flawless - one big chunk missing from the clearcoat and a little of the wood on the bottom (when the strap slipped off  ), a crack on the top, and a couple of dings here and there. HOWEVER, it plays perfectly, sounds great (no rattles or anything), and holds a tuning, so they're just a couple of battle scars! Also, it will come with one EMG 81 wired up and good to go in the bridge, though the neck 81 is currently in my Ibanez bridge. However, the quick-connect cable remains dangling in the neck pickup cavity, so it would be a simple matter of buying an EMG (or Blackout *shudder* ) on ebay and plugging it in (I'll include the mounting hardware).

The guitar will come with Schaller straplocks, a padded gig bag, and an unopened set of my favorite strings for it, D'addario 12-16-22w-32-44-56 (which I use for it in C-standard). However, if you have no need for these then I'd like to hang on to them :) $260 shipped in the US, $280 international! This thing is the ultimate backup/live guitar, SO comfy when playing standing up!

And obviously it comes with the bridge and tailpiece, I just removed them cuz they fall off without strings on it ;) And again, also comes with all mounting hardware for a neck pickup!

Oh, and it has a dedicated compartment for a 9v battery (as it came with EMG's :headbang: ), and pearloid flag inlays, ooh la la  And here's a pic of me with it from awhile ago just to give you an idea:

Oh, and Grover Tuners too, and made in Korea (not Indonesia). Phew, I think that covers everything :D

The General Clinton Pub was never the same after that fateful day when Marcus single-handedly slaughtered the entire bar with superman-esque lasers beaming from his eyes.

I am so very tempted by this............battle scars don't bother me on a guitar....
but i need money for other things so it'll have to pass me by for now. I might get in touch if it's still for sale in a few weeks time

Just for anyone who's interested from the UK, if the customs charge the maximum they can, you'll pay 210 pounds in total for your guitar to turn up on your doorstep

You can still see the scorch marks!

Cool dude, I can't say I hope it doesn't sell before then, but if it doesn't, then it's yours! :D

Not if I undervalue it on the customs form ;)

Well, not redundant, but pretty ineffective, yes :D But that's a risk a lot of people are willing to take! And I'll pack securely as all hell (it'll be in a padded gig back, which is a great last line of defense right there)

at $300 there's no customs duty, as 3.7% of $300 is less than 7 pounds, which is the cutoff point which they start charging.
You have to pay VAT on whatever price is on the form at 15%

seeing as it's damaged you can say it's worth practically nothing though, which is great.
