This is a 7-stringer with the brand "Riverside Guitars". I've no idea where or when or by who it was made. I bought it from some chap in Dundee but I've not been able to find any info on it whatsoever! Double humbucking, with passive tone control. And a licensed Floyd Rose locking trem. The trem is currently woodblocked as I can't set those accursed things up to save my life but it'll be shipped with the bar and 3 springs so you can sort it out for yourself.

I'm not bullshitting when I say that this is a fantastic guitar though. The setup and action is spot-on, the fretting is perfect and everything is very solid and well made. I've played on various known brands of 7 string and it hold up very well to any of them. The stock pickups are probably the weak spot but by no means do they sound bad.

I've recorded some demos of me amateurishly improvising random bullshit, both amp sim and straight DI:

Really I'm only selling it because I need the money more than I need a 7-string guitar! A steal at £90, that'll leave you enough money to slap in a pair of EMG's and you'll have an awesome guitar for fuck all money.

wow this looks very similar to my "watson" 7 string guitar.

I have been unable to find any infos on it either. same deal with a licensed floyd rose, contoured body shape, and dimarzio like stock pickups.

Wouldn't surprise me. I've seen others that look almost exactly the same. Inevitably some far eastern built model that anyone can slap their own brand on but still, the quality of some of these nameless imports puts the major brands to shame at times.

come to think of it, I used another watson 7 string guitar years ago, and it had the exact same headstock shape, and watson was written in the same font, everything haha

both the watsons I have seen look identical at the neck joint.

If this guitar is of the same quality as my watson axe, then this is def. a steal. the neck on my guitar has such a fast feel, and it seems to resonate better, and has better tonality than the ibanez rg7321 I sold awhile back.

I have owned 3 7 strings, and tried others like schecter omen, jackson, ibanez, and I personally prefer my watson.
