FUCK YEAH! Phillies win the world series!

And this is why philly celebrations rock:

The guy was apparently a rays fan who removed his shirt eventually, and for some reason started climbing the traffic light.

When a story starts out with "I got fucking loaded and climbed up a street light pole in the middle of a virtual riot", there's really only one way for it to end, and we just saw it. Sure, the guy that threw the bottle is an asshole, but that guy climbing the pole should have known better.

This is the kind of shit that makes me mad that liquor is legal when weed's not.

Yeah, this is true. But whatever. And I never said the guy who was drunk and climbed the pole wasn't an idiot but in Canada (A) someone would have stopped him from climbing the pole, if not by talking sense into him then forcibly stopping him from hurting himself and (B) no one would have thrown a bottle.

Ok, I'm not saying it COULDN'T happen here, because similar shit has, drunk people are the same every where but the odds of that shit happening are less likely.

Actually, most places in the US would have atleast... helped the guy. Only few select cities will just laugh at the guy as he falls 30 feet.

Why so defensive? You must have a guilty conscience because I wasn't referring to a single word you said and I don't understand how anyone could assume I was....

:kickass:

Pretty much Philly and a few boroughs of NYC.
 Hoepfully someone at least called an ambulance for him!
City of Brothas
:erk: I cringe at that thought!

I'm nto defensive... I just hate people who don't care about other people. Nothing to do with you :lol; My most recent trip to the US, which was to Rochester, fucking really changed my opinion of the US, at least certain things about it. I know I can't judge a whole country from the few places I've been but there's a definite culture difference... I mean I've been to Detroit, and found it less fucked up than Rochester
