FUCKING HATE THIS SHIT

To relief yourself, a month ago, my brother(lives in Spain), his girlfriend (spanish), my girlfriend and me (Argentines) blocked 2 days at Ezeiza airport (Argentina). First day we board the plane, after 2 hours we must to unboard. The second day we board the plane for 2 hours and we must to unboard again. It was a pilots' strike. If you wanted to eat something, a packet of potato chips...
u$s 10. The airport was an anarchy, all companies' workers disappeared as police too. Some baggage stoled. My baggage was opened althought it had a padlock.

The airport cancelled all flights for 4 days. I couldn't do my trip with my brother and his girlfriend and they had to return to Europe.

Just wanted to tell my story.

Fuck that man, you should be up there threatening their asses with a shotgun.
Would be super pissed if this happened to me.

Can someone please elaborate on this:

Changes to origins and destinations may result in an increase in fare. Any difference in fare between your original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of booking.

So what does it mean? Do I get a refund, get nothing or do I have to pay something extra, since my flight got rescheduled? And what is "significantly delayed"? My flight got canceled and rescheduled from Dec 17 to Dec 21, route is Minneapolis-Amsterdam-Helsinki.

I think it means you get to choose between either a refund or take a later flight for free. This is unless the later flight goes somewhere different (i.e. you wanted to go to Manchester but the next flight to the UK was to London) in which case you'd have to pay the extra to cover the longer flight

I feel your pain man, international flights getting delayed are a huge pain in the ass and happen way too often. My inlaws had similar problems when going back home last summer, they were lucky to find an available flight the next day with another airline (the original airline paid for it and did the transfer) cause if that one wasn´t available they would´ve had to stay for an extra week, missing work and school

i feel your pain man, mine was cancelled last night at 5.40 even though the airline told us at 9am that flights were going and if we didn't check in, the money on flights would not be refunded. so we got there after a 6 hour train journey due to delays to get turned away and told no rebooking would be done at the airport.

hope all works out for you!
