Fucking Snocap Illegally hacked our myspace page

Anyone else experianced this bullshit yet? They hacked our page, hid the code so we can't find it and have went on to sell OUR music without our permission on our fucking page to our fans, HOLY SHIT am I PISSED!!!!!

That would suck, I'd hate to fire them!

40% of our website hits come from Myspace.

Send a complaint to Myspace about it. If they did put it up, they might take it down since they didn't receive any authorization to sell your music (unless the label gave them permission). Or, they'll delete it from your page if it was actually hacked.

I just did send a message to myspace telling them I am the keyboardist in the band and to copy dan in a reply. I also sent a message to snocap asking similar questions and asked that dan be copied on responses from them both. I stated we didn't authorize snocap to be selling out cd tracks off myspace. if they obtained it elsewhere they would need to license it and I am not sure who would be needing to be talked to about that as it wasn't done by the band (at least I am/was not aware of this till recently here). The only think I can think of is maybe Tim somehow put the bands releases into snocap for more revenue...if he did he should have told us for one thing....Mark doesn't think he did it though.

They have it through some distribution thing. I don't have the mail handy but I forwarded their response to him. So it should be ok. We need to check to see if we get any type of kick-back on any sales though....

Yeah, turns out this was done indirectly through Screaming Ferret.

So long as the money comes back to us, I am ok with this. Though I really wish they had just asked for Christ's sake!
