Yes, for only $25 a year you can get access to Alphamails and Blastbeats, and have a message board where you can chat with band members and post polls, and hear news before we hear it on Blabbermouth. Back in March, I probably would have been one of the first signed up, but as for now, until I know the status of John in the band, I'll hang on to my $25. Apart from that I kinda agree on the new CD set and teh fee for the Alphamails and stuff kinda reeks of commercialism...but that is not the reason SOME people bash it.

Is it asking to much to pay $25 to a band that has been giving us this awsome music for over 20 years? Think of it as just buying the shirt(That so menny of you dont think there are enuff of) and access to the fan club is just a bonus.

I hope to one day see John and Rob back in the band perhaps even share the stage with Joey and Dan who I am also a fan of. But this new fan club thing just aint my cup of tea.
