The Full Thrash Assault festival, which was set to take place Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Snooty Fox in Wakefield, U.K., has reportedly been cancelled. The event organizers explained, "Since arranging the gig, we've been faced with a number of problems including Mutant cancelling through reasons beyond their control. With EVILE, MUTANT and WARPATH playing that weekend, plus Hammerfest also going on, we have decided that going ahead with it would be too big a risk when the money is coming out of our own pockets.

Appologies to all of the bands, and to anyone who had made plans to attend FTA, but it wasn't an easy decision to make and we felt that it wasn't worth going ahead with considering the circumstances.

There are two thrash metal all-day events scheduled to take place at the Snooty Fox, on March 07th and June 13th.

The following bands were scheduled to take part in Full Thrash Assault:

cant believe its been cancelled, just because we play the night before in leeds doesnt mean people arent going to go see lots of good bands play the day after in wakefield....

dont forget a lot of people despise the band that is evile haha.
