Fun story with pictures!

So I was sitting at my desk, minding my own business a few nights ago. I was enjoying a really awesomely huge Hershey Symphony Dark Chocolate bar (I LOVE dark chocolate) when I bit the middle of my tongue really hard. It felt like a pretty strong bite, harder than most of the other times I've done it but I didn't even consider the fact that it could be bleeding. Once I suspected that it might be, I licked my arm to make sure:

Fortunately my taste buds were spared and I was able to fully enjoy Thanksgiving dinner!

I once rescued a granny who was in a car-crash and she had done the same thing. She cut her tongue by biting through it. Turns out the doctors stapled the 2 pieces together with some stainless retaining staples and after 24 days her tongue was fully healed.
