This looks awesome. Pity I don't have a proper "kitchen", or my diet would be a lot healthier than it is now.

erm, are you gonna eat all this BY YOURSELF?:OMG:

Yup! It's all gone!

You would think it's so easy to eat healthy when you have a nice-sized kitchen (which I do), but really, it's not. You have to shop and keep fresh food on hand (not as easy as it sounds), and then take the time to prepare and cook each meal. Maybe I'm just lazy, but I can't actually cook "real" meals more than a few times per week. It's just me, too, and it's so much harder to cook for one.

But thanks for saying my food looked good; it sure tasted good!

*buuurrrrp*

Yes sir, especially 'round this time of year.

What I mean by that is, typically I'd be on the road, seeing potential clients several times per week, but all day trips. Figure maybe 4-7 appointments per week, no more than 1-3 per day. But yes, I technically work out of my house. When my laptop is up & running, I usually just chill on my couch (it's wireless) and work from there.

seriously. this is why i'm thankful for Trader Joe's, they have real food shitz that you can prepare in like 20 minutes. when i'm cooking for someone else, i enjoy taking time to prepare stuff. but by myself i think "man, i'd rather watch the Simpsons." so i do.

Exactly!

It's a lot easier to just keep sitting on the couch and order food than it is to always be cooking. God bless my mother, I have NO idea how she managed to feed us (my pops, bro & me) for 20+ years. Mind-boggling.

Yes I know this of course. However, I'm quite certain I would be less of a lazy cooking ass had I half-decent premices (presently one cooking plate and a sink in a corner no wider than your average WC). It's no fun when you want to make something as simple as pasta and beefsteack and either one of the two components is getting cold while the other is cooking. I love cooking but, granted, if it were only for myself alone, I'd rather eat a can of dog food than being any creative about it.

I'm shocked you don't have an HD TV. Not that I do, but I thought you would.

Zod

Yeah, I've had that WEGA for 5+ years now, and it's serviceable. I wish I had an extra $2500 laying around for me to get a HDTV plasma or something. Meh.

Alright, who's the funny guy w/ the 3-star rating?! Are you saying my house is only worth 3 stars? Don't make me cry!

I have a 100-watt/channel Onkyo receiver, yes, and it's as good today as it was the day I bought it nearly 6 years ago. Fucking thing is truly aces.

The speakers are not the best on the planet, but they are damned good. Polk Audio, yes, + Polk Audio powered subwoofer. The receiver + speakers + subwoofer + gold-plated cables to hook it all up = $1600+ while the TV was about the same (of course now that TV can be had brand new for about $700).
