No I kind of meant gigs that they were headlining, they organised, they were the main band on the list. I figured there was more chance of adding singers or guitar players when they controlled more of the show including how long they played and how many songs they get to play.

Papers were always the easy thing to get, they were only 15c a pack and no age limit on them.

Wow. Ours were a couple bucks. And only certain people would let you skirt past the age limit. And sometimes the stores are closed or there's too much snow.

It's one of those weird things about our laws. I can't remember when the laws changed, but sometime in the 80's the age limit to buy smokes was 13, ten 16, then eventually 18, but it was never illegal for any age to buy papers, lighters, matches, pipes or anything that went with smoking. The same stupid rules made it legal to sell bongs, but illegal to sell the cone.

Still never been that desperate for papers, although I was once desperate enough to try a tea leaf smoke.

Lol. I also had a tea cig once. I was probably 11-ish. My friend and I were stuck at church coincidentally around Xmas. And we made one with some tea and a paper straw. So naughty.

uBlock Origins is still the best blocker I have seen run on any browser. I can change what I want to see but with it's out of the box settings I see no ads anywhere. It also has the added bonus that I can just click on something, like the post reply button for instance and tell it to not show me that element any more and I'll never see it. That would of course make it hard to post, but extreme examples are often the best in this world
