I know, might perhaps have gone a bit to far with the 2bus compression

and I used shitloads of compression on drums and vox as well, just wanted to really drive the VTAPE

yeah there's abit too much compression, but the vocals sound like there's the right amount of compression.

Update:

I just thought since this was a testdrive for VTAPE fu(k it and add more grit

so I created a stereo-mult of the overheads and put vtape on it (compression, a bit distortion and used the EQ on Vtape as well), blended that slightly in. (just a tiny bit I admit)

other than that I put the VTAPE on the guitarbus as well to add a tiny bit of dirt on the ultraclean guitars as well (Strat into JC-120--> Neumann+Sm57-->API)

so Vtape used on the OH-Mult (quite a bit)
on vox to warm them up a bit and add punch
on the filtervox (dist and eq)
on guitars to add grit
and on the 2bus to glue it together and add some more punch.

I know, it's still pretty clean, but hey, I'm coming from a metal-background,lol
