Just a quick update to see what you all thought of how my mixing is coming on, I think I'm starting to get to grips with stuff a lot better.. but again with regards to low end, I can;t fully judge it here (excuses excuses hahaha).

Thanks man, I guess that's more my playing technique? Or is this pretty common and tweaked out?

I think the guitars are a little high in the mix. Bass could do with a little more high mids (to cut through the guitars) and sub lows? Didn't hear any excessive string rattle, guitars sound fine to me.

If you can't hear that string noise you shouldn't be here at all
I know it's your playing style but those squeks every two seconds really is annoying, track it part by part to avoid it,

Other than that I like the mix

Agreed on the string noise, also maybe turn guitars down a little bit? But overall it's sounding great (if you just got rid of the string noise).

Hey guys, with regards to tracking it part by part, how part by part are we talking? O played each Verse, Chorus, etc etc separately, it's just there is a LOT of movement on the riffs, and I play power chords on them (I'm not a Drop D'er). So I really dunno how to avoid it.. any tips?
