yeah, that's pretty much what they did when i saw them.
you like the new record? you mentioned stuff you didn't care for- what exactly?

I am generally positive to the new record. Next time I have it at work I'll pinpoint some of the exact parts, but a song will go on and be pretty cool and then suddenly a riff will come in that's redolent of Puddle of Mudd or something, and I just have to wince. Also, the lyrics are generally stupid.

yeah, the lyrics are not the greatest. although i kinda like them in anchor some reason. the last breath of water is kind of bad- except that halfway into the song they use a flange on half the instruments that makes it sound as though everything's underwater. and shouldn't youth overrided be youth overridden (one of my fave songs on it btw, except for the title part)?

sigh, Nine Inch Nails has great lyrics, yet I always winced when I heard:

"ocean pulls me close
and whispers in my ear
the destiny I've chose
all becoming clear"

umm CHOSEN? he could've even said "the destiny I chose" and made it proper, so it's not like poetic license.
