cool deal nad ... next step ... corporate takeover

It's cool because I'm totally content with it. However if I cut my hair and started shaving, well then I'd just be one sad NAD.

Somebody should photochop that Black Sabbath / Depeche Mode baby head on that dude. RRRAAAARRR!!!

interesting thread. my ol lady is in sales so some of this stuff sounds familiar. never retail though. unless you count banana republic. meh.
ive always wondered about those extended service plans. i NEVER buy them but sometimes i think i should. but like y'all said, it's like an insurance and if you never use it, it's 100% profit for the dude who sold it to you.
one day i just decided that i'd never buy one because i firmly believe the product better motherfucking work correctly or im bringing it back, ruining the company's reputation, whatever. secondly, i can pretty much repair anything in the world except maybe a nuclear reactor and i dont own one of those so it's no big deal.

I found out even more about how my Q1 needs to go.

$330k in renewal base revenue, $450k in quota. Only 11 accounts are due to renew during Q1, which means a helluva lot of growth is on my head.

I'm fucked.

now that I have this thread spidered too :loco: ... a so called warranty issue.

I have a pair of farily new Clarks shoes that ripped at the seam right on the side. Normally I would not bitch too much, but they were pretty expensive and well ... I thought Clarks were suppoesd to be pretty good quality.

Bought them in the summer, have no receipt ... they are not worn much ... should I contact the manufacturer

absolutely. no receipt should be no problem. you can probably send them the shoe and get a replacement sent to you.

just got a new pair back ... and since they did not have the style I sent back anymore ... they made me choose ANYTHING out of their catalog ... so I received something that is worth twice as much as the old ones.
never tried this before ... sending back shoes ... but looks like they take care of you no questions asked.
