G-Clip vs T-racks parameters

Hi

I used to use G-clip when I worked on PC but now that I work on MAC, i'm forced to use The clipper from T-racks.

I have a question, could you tell me what is the correspondance between the G-clip parameters and T-racks ones ?

In G-clip we have Gain , Clip and Softness

In T-racks we have Gain, Slope and Output

Is clip in G-clip = slope in T-racks ? and why there is no "output" knob in G-clip ? and What does the Softness knob in G-clip ?

it can't be more precise !

but It is strange that the clip knob is on percentage and not in db...
