So, I was listening to Gamma Ray's Somewhere Out In Space album today and when I got to the midpoint of the song Somewhere Out In Space, I found that my brain suddenly switched gears to Theocracy. Upon further examination, I noticed that 3:35-3:37 of Somewhere Out In Space sounds a heck of a lot like Ichthus.

I realize it's only two seconds of music, but check out those 5 or so notes. Now everytime I hear that, I'm singing "Centuries fly..."

It would be "Icthus" that sounds like "Somewhere Out in Space". That is a great Gamma Ray album as a whole.

Ha, good point! I meant that, but slipped up in the wording because I've only got to know Gamma Ray in the last 9 months.

Agreed that it's a great album. I have four GR albums now and this is the best of the them. My favorite song of theirs, Beyond The Black Hole, also comes from this album.

I'd have to say "All of the Damned" from the Land of the Free album is my favorite. They totally rip the Hotel California solo in that song.
