Garden of Shadows - What are your thoughts?

I've recently been introduced to this excellent melodic death metal band from Maryland. Anyone else heard them?

What do you guys think?

Their logo looks a lot like the CoF logo ...... but yea ....I like the music ....I could SWEAR that i heard the beginning riff of "heart of the corona" somewhere else. ...hmm ... still good stuff!

I own Oracle Moon it's a great cd's but it get's kinda average and boring at the end. They are a great band though they also toured with Opeth before.

Their new singer, Zdenka, sang (growled) in my friends' band 40 Days Longing. She does awesome death vocs. She and Mary are nice too.

Yeah that riff sounds a lot like Escape by Metallica

whoever did their web page should be shot.....

i'm not sure i like the instrumentation very much, and the vocalist is a bit over the top, but there are definitely some catchy melodies going on here.

Yeah, their vocalist is their biggest weakness, IMO. He's a bit too dark for my tastes, but great riffage.

Amazing for a band with a female guitarist.
