Nothing like the mechanics and logic of X.25 to put you into a brain numb coma. Fuck I hate this shit, luckily, finals are a week friday. Then no more Gayta Comm.

Anyway, anyone else stuck somewhere so boring it puts you to sleep even though you REALLY REALLY need to stay awake?

i've never fallen asleep at work but it almost happened once or twice. i slept in every class possible at least once since i was 17, prior to that i could never sleep in class. don't know why.

i'm working on two bullshit projects today. they are two. they are bullshit.

dude you spelled exxxxxxxxxxxpresso wrong. :loco:

seriously though, i fucking hate it when people pronounce/spell it eXXXXXXXXXXpresso. walked by a coffeehouse one time, they had the word EXPRESSO on their window and i said "well i can safely pass this shithole by."

Consider yourself lucky, my first exams are on the weekend before october's break. That means I can't party for thursday, friday and saturday before the break :(

You mean studying isn't what you'd consider partying? :guh:

Oh hell, I love espresso! We make lattes with it (+ALKOCOL OF COURSE!) and it's all I drink at home. It's fun without the milk too, but i'm just used to how awesome and relaxing the latte version is.

hey, at least you don't have to write: one paper on X.25, One paper on Frame Relay and a paper on setting up an Intercontinental ATM based network that supports a fuckload of different protocols and situations and shitz. AS WELL as study for 2 final exams over the thanksgiving (october break) weekend.

Houston, we have a winner! (or loser :smileythatidontknow: )

ha, yeah. one time i had to go in to work at midnight to do a SIX HOUR dialysis treatment for this guy who overdosed on his lithium. after awhile, i made sure no one was looking and i just went to sleep.
dont remember ever sleeping in college though. i would just go home if i was bored.
college sucks btw.

wtf is wrong with you crazy canucks, finals aren't until december :guh:

and dorian, you're only half right....where else can you drink/smoke yourself into a blissed-out stupor 7 nights a week and get praised for it

5 week courses ( regular university does them as 6 month courses ). I had a midterm before september was over.

oh well. I'm used to this workload from last fall. It's all good. Still gonna party my balls off this weekend. I'll work on the papers while I cook thanksviging dinner (parents are working) and stay up all night on monday to get em done,

my courses are year long mostly, is that weird too? i.e. midterms in december, finals in april
when you're in high school,, that's how it works. In university, it's a different thing.

5 week courses:
Pro: It's so short of a time you don't forget shit easily
Con: It's sooo fucking fast it's hard to absorb the material in so short of time.

Pro: Your midterm review is still fresh in your mind by the time the final rolls around
Con: You don't get much time to study, cause it's so accelerated.

Pro: It's over fast
Con: It's over too fast sometimes.

year long courses?!

mine were 10 weeks in college, and i think 18 weeks in high school (although most were two 18 week sessions in a row).

10 week classes were perfect because right when i was getting ready to take out my entire class a la jeremy the class was over.
