Ok here's my gear, in the order that I acquired it:

Boss DS-1 (you know what this looks like)

Marshall VS15R 15W valvestate amp

Epiphone Explorer (with seymour duncan distortion pup in the bridge)

Ibanez weeping daemon wah

Marshall MG100HDFX half-stack, (you can see it in the background)

Boss MT-2 Metal Zone

Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor

Boss H-2 Harmonist

Jackson RR3- flamed maple top, trans blue (with Blue/Black Dimarzio Evolution in the bridge now)

Boss ME-50 (great for the dorm)

as for strings and picks I usually use Ernie Ball Power Slinkys (11's) and whatever picks are in the "5 for $1" jar at the guitar shop. usually Tortex .88mm 1.0mm or 1.14mm. (green blue and magenta, respectively)

King V and Jackson RR3 almost gave me eyegasm. I've only tried 2 V guitars. One was a standard one and the other was Alexi Laiho signature.

I actually really like the shape of the Laiho signature. How it's like a Rhoads V, but the short wing is a bit longer. It reminds me more of Randy's original V. if only it had 2 Pickups I'd seriously consider getting one.

I like the neck tone for solos better than the bridge, but that's me.

Nah, can't say I ever really use the Neck, both for Rhythm and Lead the bridge sounds better to me. I do use the neck for cleans, and I don't like guitars with just one pickup anyway, I think they just look wrong.
