Genecidigital

I must need to clean my ears or something  Thanks man, I'll try flushing my ears out and re-listening for that high-end. Cheers, :kickass:

How's this sound?
I added a touch of 6khz, 2khz and also 200hz & 60hz. And gave the whole thing a bit more volume.

the snare's a bit loud and could need a tad more punch imo...
i also dont like the sound of it too much tbh^^
sometimes the bass sticks out a bit too much....
but the overall feeling is really nice!
i like the guitars, what did u use for them?

I gotta agree with you on the snare... I was really iffy rendering that sample but it was the closest thing to what I was after.... there's no excuse aside from my laziness on why I didn't tweak it more... its too up-front to my ears... I like the initial snare to have attack/presence but the resonance to seem in the background... maybe room mic? I'm not sure...
For guitars I played a Schecter Omen 6 > pod xt pro (cant remember what amp/cab/mic/etc) double tracked and panned 100% L/R
Thanks, by the way, for taking the time to listen and offer some feedback. I really appreciate it.
Now, if only I could find an able and willing vocalist to help me finish some projects... that would :kickass:

play around with a comp on the snare to get the attack more in the focus and lowering the ring a bit...also EQing could help. sometimes they sound better than imaginable afterwards...
thnx 4 the info on the guitars!
no problem dude :kickass:
what kind of vocals do you need btw?

To be perfectly honest, I'd be happy with almost anything. Providing they're able to pull off something decent. For most songs I dont have lyrics written up, nor vocal ideas otherwise I'd take a stab at it myself, but I'm totally untrained and inexperienced and I'd most likely damage my vocal chords from just belting out everything I've got.
That and I'm sure the neighbors would love me.
