Genelec 8040 or 8050

I've listened to the new Genelec 8000 series and decided to get a pair, either 8040 or 8050, but i'm just not shure wich one. I mix ITB so I don't have a console between me and the monitors...just a mouse and a keyboard, so a rather short listening distance....

Anyone here with experience on both these monitors, any impressions?

I haven't actually tried em out myself, but what i've heard is that they're supposed to have a better bass response than their predecessors so i'm guessing that the 8040's would suffice in your case, whereas the 1030's do not always (in my opinion) get the job done by themselves.
I've only heard good things about the 8000 series except for people not liking the design but that doesn't really matter now does it...
