George "Corpse Grinder" Fisher OR Chris Barnes?

is probably due to the fact that DC is one of the first death metal bands I listened again in the 1990's. I do not think Corpsegrinder a strong voice, especially live.

Corpsegrinder is one of the absolute best death metal growlers ever. Sure Chris Barnes was good in the early cannibal days but the last 15 years he hasn't even been good enough to qualify to soundcheck for Corpsegrinder. If any band should follow the trend to re-record old stuff it is Cannibal Corpse!

I'll have to say Chris Barnes. I'm curious how the new Six Feet Under will sound like. They'll be in my area in July so I'm looking forward to hearing them. I had a chance to interview him via phone once. It was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had. He wasn't focused, he didn't elaborate on anyhting and seemed very uninterested! That and the fact that I swear he was getting ripped while on the phone! Terrible! Very unprofessional....

I'm not really a big death metal fan but lately I've been listening to Cannibal Corpse and I like Fisher much better than Barnes because he seems to have more variety in his style and he's easier to understand.

Fisher is better IMO. But George is awesome to.
