I actually think this sounds like a pretty cool fest. Although I'm not impressed with their recent work, I like Manowar, and have always enjoyed their live shows (minus the Joey DiMeo rants). It is an impressive feat to play 6 albums in two nights. There's a lot of rehearsing going on there!

A buddy of mine is over there and going to that show-and he's also a PP ticket holder, so he does have taste. I'd actually like to see that show, for all the other bands as well as one of Manowar's sets.

Are you kidding? Damn, I'd kill to see that! MANOWAR's first six albums are true classics, Glenn. It is THEIR festival, so naturally they headline the thing.

I got the impression he knew that but was just being funny. Made me laugh anyway.

While I'd not spend big bucks for this show, it could still be a lot of fun.

It's not a joke on my part. Norm McDonald that used to do the weekend update on SNL would always say that he had a theory that Germans love DH.

Norm had a thing with Germany. He would make a comment about something and say: "or so the Germans would have you believe".

One time he reported on a city that made it illegal for strippers to get within 4feet of a client( or something like that ) then said it was in Houston or as he likes to call it "Nazi Germany".

Normy was nuts.
