Popular classic rock website Get Ready to ROCK! (GRTR!) have today announced their Featured Artists for 2011.

Launched on their radio channel on Sunday, with a world exclusive play of the Power Quest track 'Survive', the promotion features 10 artists who will receive special attention from the website in the coming year.

Reviews Editor Jason Ritchie explains: "We've always supported independent artists and this follows a similar promotion in 2010. All the artists have been chosen by the Get Ready to ROCK! reviewers."

The final choice reflects the broad sweep of the website, and associated radio channel, with blues, metal, prog and rock and roll genres all represented.

Jason adds: "We think that, this year, we have a wonderful cross-section of artists on the brink of wider recognition. In some cases they have yet to make their first album, but the key thing is the quality of the music."

The promotion gets underway in February with blues rock guitarist Larry Miller, whose current album so impressed GRTR! Features Editor Pete Feenstra: "...after years of a hard working stop-start career Larry has finally delivered the groceries!" Miller is playing UK dates January/February.

The full list of featured artists is as follows

FEBRUARY: LARRY MILLER
MARCH: EDEN'S CURSE
APRIL: POWER QUEST
MAY: THE LAST REPUBLIC
JUNE: VOODOO VEGAS
JULY: TOXIC FEDERATION
AUGUST: CHANTEL McGREGOR

Awesome! :kickass:

Interesting to see Eden's Curse among them as well.

Does this mean throughout April, we could be hearing various Power Quest songs, spanning the whole discography, not just Blood Alliance blasting out on this Radio Station?
