I was searching for something and I found a site with some free plugins but I havent tried them yet. Probably some of you already know this, but are they usefull? they look cool.

if we're talking about going old school free VSTs, I prefer the classic series, but I really liked the manuals for the fish plugs - they have great explanations of what compression and expansion do and how to use (or not use) them as I recall. I still grab for the classic stuff on occasion if I'm using my work PC to goof with stuff. at home I use a mac with logic and what it comes with, so it's kind of a non-issue.
