I'll probably post alot of border line funk edged rock but I've always been into such songs. Whatever if its funky post it.

Here's a borderline unlikely pick, first three minutes is blues but they transition though blues to rockin it then around 3:00 get funky then dirty and back again. I love this album, rock solid IMO.

I have actually awhile ago, borrowed CD from my daughters boyfriend, thought they were great musicians but it seemed all the music was goofy. I've never been into goofy music, that guy there... forget his name is one hell of a bass player... but hes a friggin goof ball

Done recall hearing any of them or the alternate I Feel Good

This one made an impression on me

Alternate funk rocker for the day

"smooth" funk, this was such a solid album

OK, heres my long shot for the day, I'll call this footstompin hardrock with a touch of white boy funk. Plus Mark Farner was metal before metal was cool. Great stage man. Quality of this old '72live gem is not very good, studio versions are much cleaner.

Still rock with more funk tinge, and the lyrics are too good... HA! another album I though was rock solid

I did consider posting "play that funky music white boy" but the luster of that grew slim quick in the 70's as it was basically disco.

The Dregs is still one of my favorite bands.

Man it has to be Parlament or Funkadelic for me. There is a protege of Bootsy Collins that tours the intl and national jam band circuit his name is Freekbass and he has to be one of the best bassists i ever witnessed playing live outside of Les Claypool. And he plays bass guitars that Mr Collins created. Here is a video of him playing with Bootsy.
