Hey Neil!:worship: What is the best way to keep high gain, in order to get the harmonics and sustain, without adding distortion?? My amp has a low, high, mid freq (scoop) & mid along with a seven band EQ - this would be for recording only. My clean channel is what I use most, because I am running a DigiTech RP 300A processor due to changing from rhythm, to clean, to acoustic and a boosted lead tone. The clean channel (on the amp) totally removes the 7 band EQ from the equation. Clean ch. on amp is only low, mid, high and prescence. I just can't seem to get the gain I need without adding too much distortion, a problem I have always had. If you could help I really would be grateful!!! Oh yeah the amp is a Randall Cyclone with a Randall 4x12 Cyclone cab with Celestions. Powerful and perfect for balls out death metal, though with my musical progression of different dimensions I had to get a processor. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and take care!

God Bless,
