Ghost

I loved this album when I first got it, but it has since gotten somewhat stale. I like it still, but not nearly as much as I once did.

It's interesting, I like it. I love the album cover. Reminds me of the back cover of METAL CHURCH's self titled release.

20 Buck Spin has copies of the LP in stock. Not sure if it's the same copies that Rise Above were putting out or if it's already being repressed (I saw some new colors available on the Nuclear Blast site...) but it's a pretty decent price considering it's an import.

Jason would probably be correct ... this clearly does look like a gimmick band. Rumor has it Ghost is made up of some guys from Repugnant.

I kind of dig the gimmick though .. the disc is enjoyable.

That Christian Mistress disc is really cool too. Missed them when they came threw a few weeks ago but I heard that they have a really good show.

Yeah they did a small tour with Speedwolf, a little speed/thrash band from Denver which is pretty good I think they are too cool for anything but LP's and tapes which is gay but whatever, some solid bands. I think Ghost has Repugnant and Tribulation members or some other major swedish band.

I am glad I am not the only one seeing this too. It seems to be the new trend for these styles of bands. I do have a tape deck and I wont even start to buy vinyl.....I have zero space in my place as it is.

Speedwolf is a killer band. One of the guys runs a distro, too. Great service.

Repugnant members are definitely in Ghost. The singer is Mary Goore. The names I've heard tossed around for the other band are In Solitude and Watain but Watain seems unlikely.

I only buy vinyl and cassettes so no problem with that, haha.
