Gibson Baritone Pickup Recommendations

Hi Guys - I recently acquired one of these used:

And I'm finding the stock Epiphone pickups really spongy. Any thoughts on passive pickups for the dense Les Paul body and baritone tuning? I might just bite the bullet and go active, but wondering if maybe there's a good passive option.

I've got a baritone (not a Gibson however) and had good luck with the Duncan JB, and the Duncan EMTY if you're looking at going the active route. The JB was pretty clear sounding and tight tuned to B standard.

Forgot he said that he was looking at passives. I totally agree with you about the JB. Great pickup for baritones.
