k, so i know i'll probobly get hell for asking this, but i need to write a dramatic monologue for my fiction writing seminar and can't come up with anything - can't think of any good characters to get into. any person or situation i think of has too much of me in it. it's due on tuesday and i thrive at last minute work, but does anyone just want to throw something out there?

okay yeah, clarification (the lack of which in the assignment is the whole reason i had to start this thread, actually. gahhh) i'm just looking for someone in a conflicting or confusing situation ... or just someone different or interesting. i know there are some writers here, so maybe you guys could just throw me a bone with the plots or characters you've never been able to use.

hmm... well, considering this is going to be someone talking to a silent or limited party and i have to sustain it for several pages, i don't think that work since generally when people catch other people masturbating, they quickly turn and run away ... unless it's porn ... or creepy.

like, have the speaker invite the addresse to join him/her or something.

Option One: Think of someone you really dislike. Co-worker, ex-boyfriend, just someone who you really don't want to be around. Take the things you don't like about them and condense them into a character in a fictional setting. Try to color the scene by bringing out those traits, portraying them, and maybe even trying to bring to light what motivates them.

Option Two: A woman, between the ages of seventeen and twenty-one who can't seem to remember large portions of her childhood. There's no negative association or bad dreams or something to make her worry anything bad happened, but she's trying to create some sort of narrative bridge to explain what happened. It's become an obsession, and now she takes almost every opportunity to try and create some explanation for these little holes in memories.

wow, i really like those ideas! i think i can definately use them, thanks! hell, even if i can't make a monologue out of them, i'll probobly use them in something else!

Do one about a guy who slays dragons with his cock, rapes the minds of young Afghan children, seduces women with his endless charm, and is the worlds greatest Go player.

You know. ME.

yeah, i'll finally be able to use my talent for brilliant diction in something worthwhile.

"What am i doing here?" our intrepid hero wondered, waking up with his face against the cool tile of the hotel bathroom floor, covered in various bodily fluids and pickles.

I do wish.

But I've been working on a form of mitosis for my testicles. Soon I will have one cock, but 100 testicles, which will blast a load so hard that even Jenna Jameson her self couldn't swallow.
