Just curious on this. Is there a rule through the venue or ticketmaster that would prevent tickets from going on sale earlier? Just seems to me that with all the hype that will exist on the fest just after it (due to announcements), that having tickets go on sale much earlier in normal would work out, and wouldn't rely on hype being recreated closer to ticket sales. Then again maybe after spending all their money on merch people would be too broke =p
