Hey there,
Yesterday I just got to know the dblue glitch vst and I wanted
to test it in a mix. So I recorded a short clip today.
On my Adam A3x it turned out pretty well and with my cheap headset
it sounds ok, too. But then I listened to it on my Ipod und there it
seems like its lacking in punchiness very much. It sounds really weak
on there.
I think its because, I'm not really experienced with mastering etc.
So it would be nice if you could help me to improve it! :)

Guitars : Pod Farm
Drums : Steven Slate Drums Ex 3.5
Bass : Spectrasonics Trillian

Masterbus : Limiter, Compression (Attack 1ms, Auto Release, Analog off, Threshold +15), EQ

I think its cool, But I would much rather do all of this by hand. so much more control and Im not sketched out that the next time I listen to it through it would be different like I do with the Glitch plug

I think the Glitch vst is really cool and its more comfortable like doing all
by hand. But thats my opinion. :D
Please tell me how you think about the mix/master!

Thanks!...
Year i know what you are talking about.
But for some reason i really like the slate samples. :D
So i don't really want them to sound much different.
The only thing i'm not that happy with is the kick. But all other
samples i tried for it were not powerfull enough and didn't fit in the mix.

Any other suggestions? Maybe how i could improve the mastering?

I need your advice, because I really want to record an album
with my band. But I don't think that the quality of my mixes is
already good enough to get a good sounding result.
So, every recommendation on how to improve my mixes helps
to get to a point from where i can start producing an album. :)

Could you recommend any good snare/kick/tom samples for deathcore?
I know the clips i posted don't really sound like deathcore plus they are
in drop D, but the actuall recordings of my band gonna be deathcore
in the style of Within the Ruins. :p
