Not sure how many Football fans there are on here but here's to Gus and the boys pulling off a miracle over Uruguay and qualifying for the Germany 2006.

Well done Oz, Scotland have yet again failed to make the finals! We suck!

Yeah, we failed too.

Go Aussies! If you beat England in the world cup we are prepared to offer you some new royals, hehehe...

Go Aussies - let's thump their lame sorry arse bullshit tactics and come to the home leg with an away goal under our belt.

it is hard for australia,i dont follow soccer but our team isall over the place,we are more a talent producing country than actuall having a killer naytional side,we ar too far away from everyone to be with the big leagues although if we could just get into world cup i think we would go a very long way...

HAHAHA :) I hear the referee for the 1st leg is Danish :headbang:

Is Soccer that sport where the object of the game is for the audience to kill one another and at the end of the game they hang the refs, burn down the stadium and roast weinies?

Yep. You forgot throw flairs onto the pitch. Throw coins at the ref and then rip up the stadium seats.... and who says soccer isn't exciting

Yeah, Uruguay gets to test its skill regularly against the likes of Brazil and Argentina, and had to beat out teams like Colombia and Chile to get this far. The biggest challenge the Aussies have is that powerhouse from New Zealand, not exactly good preparation for a South American team.
