God Dethroned

Why is this band so underrated? I never see people talking about them, there are very few reviews on metal archives, etc.


This band really kicks ass and while they do have some melody, they are more true to death metal than any other "melodic death" bands.

Their new album, Passiondale, is fucking awesome.

Show some love.

Anyways... Passiondale is the only God Dethroned I've ever heard... but it did seem pretty good.

For those who havent checked out Passiondale yet, it is a lot faster and more death metal than the last two albums. Check out their myspace and listen to "under a darkening sky" and "poison fog". GREAT tracks.

Yeah God Dethroned is the shit, nothing I have heard from them dissapointed me. They are really good.

The Toxic Touch is one of the worst albums I've ever spent money on. It's truly dispassionate and bland. And typical of melodeath.

Lair of the White Worm and Ravenous are 2 great albums, though, in my opinion. And I always liked how they have a song called "Loyal to the Crown of God Dethroned".

Haven't heard Passiondale yet.

I only have The Toxic Touch and actually enjoy it a lot when listen to it and it's actually heavy(the guitar tone is aesome) aggressive melodic DM with balls and darker atmosphere.
