Hi! I play drums in the band God Mother and we just released our first single, Blodfors, from our upcoming debut album Maktbehov.

We will release the LP on Vinyl through Violent Groove Music group the 26:th of March.

Everything is recorded and mixed by me and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, High On Fire, Baptists, Black Breath etc)

If your into fast noisy stuff check it out!

Not my kind of stuff but it's a nice mix. I'm very impressed to read that these are 100% real drums, I could easily think the opposite so great job!

Thanks man! But are you sure you listened to my band God Mother and not my Signature haha? Thats is a mix/master I did for a band called Deathember that has programed drums. I think our mix sounds kinda natural.

Edit: Changed my signature now :)

Sounds awesome! Mix is a bit messy but in a good way, it definitely suits the music!

Thanks man! Yeah, I went for the "Chaos mix" with this record. I tried to use as little plug in´s as possible and keep it natural. There is no editing to the drums or recording either, really tried to keep the human feeling.

Dat bass. SO MUCH CLANK.

Yeah our bassplayer has a bass sound from hell. Realy tried to crank it as high as possible in the mix, when we play live usually all your hear is the bass haha..

Recorded with the signal chain of my dreams: Gibson RD > Hi Watt 100W amp > Mesa 4x10 > Neuman u47 + Beyer 201 > UA 1176 > UA 610 Preamp > Rme adi8

Nice songs and playing, really fitting production! like the meatyness. and yeah, that bass clank is awesome.

The only thing I'd say are that the vocals are really low volume wise.

Thanks a lot man! Glad to hear you like it.

Yeah I hear you, but I kinda like to keep the vocals a bit lower in my mixes. Don´t really like the "Vox in your face" style. But thats just my personal preferences.

I also don't dig extremely loud vocals, but those are even too low for me. But it's your call in the end!

I've been following your band since the first time you posted on here, and I absolutely love all of your material. It grinds so hard. If your band ever plays in America I want to open for ya'll if you hit my city.

Thank you very much man! Really glad to hear that.

Were in America are you from? We would love to make a USA tour happen some time in the future. We have done one tour in Central America last year and probably gonna do a new one this or next year.

Houston, Texas. I could also easily get you contacts for a show here. The scene is pretty good.
