Godsmack-y snare???

I recorded a band today and unfortunately have to sample replace every last drum! Along the lines of Godsmack style music, but with screaming. Very groove oriented.

I have Steven Slate Drums, but I can't find a snare that sounds right. Anyone have some samples I might try?

You can try to sample the snare off Sad but True.

art, which smack album? all the snares on their albums are different, the first one was kinda boxy and plunky... second was fat and crisp like snare3 on the disc.. you also might want to try snare10 and maybe snare5 or 5a.

Also, there is 12 more snares coming in the version 2 update.. out of 22 snares, you'll find your sound.

here is one of the 12 new snares and one of 7 new kicks from V2 of our collection. I love this snare, the transient goes on for days, its nasty sounding.
