Going to Chicago

Staring a new work gig tomorrow morning for about six weeks. Should be alright since it's only 3 days per week, but Chicago in the winter is teh gay.

I will be working in a place called Lake Forest, so I better pack my music accordingly....of course, I'll only ever see the inside of an office, airport, and hotel so I might as well pack anything really.

dude, I used to have to drive through lake forest every day on my way to work. Highly upscale, protestant old money. And the trophy wives there are AWESOME, so watch out for their teenage daughters at LF High.

Flew out tonight with a 3 hour plane delay due to "rain and wind". Just unbelievable. I assume that airplanes must not even bother trying in Alaska or Scotland. Fucking Chicago. Even the film was shite.

They do have awesome steakhouses. Go try to find a place slightly west(?) of downtown, it's just across the river from uh, Wacker Drive. Does that sound right to anyone?

Anyway, it's a big old Italian place and it just reeks of Capone. They make a MEAN filet though. Ask any cabbie or hotel guy, they should know of it.
