Lucky bastard. I would so swap out Pelican for Into Eternity.

Hey, isn't Nevermore on the bill?

First, I'd set fire to Opeth's bus of fagdom. Then I'd give the entire set to Pelican and say fuck Nevermore as well. I'd just dangle a bottle of whiskey over Warrel's head and hurl it over a bridge, he would surely follow.

1) many people complain about their drummer live or not -> wtf?

2) they are totally ok on their dvd and on several bootlegs I have

i'm back

fireball ministry were an awesome surprise; i hadn't ever heard them before and they were pretty tight.

pelican do not suck live AT ALL, whoever said that should be boiled alive. they kicked major ass.

opeth fucking RULED, mike apologized that they were all "fucked up" and he "felt like a zombie", and there were some sound problems, but that aside it was fucking sweet...the only low point was the grand conjuration, but they played "when"!! one of my favorite opeth songs, and mike claimed they'd never played it in the u.s. before, so MASSIVE BONUS, that made an already sweet show even more awesome.

and i got the ticket for free to boot.

Nevermore >>>>>>>>> everything you listen to.

Your welcome.

Opeth played "When"? Holy shit, so they finally played the greatest song they've ever written on US soil.

Didn't even know Pelican were on the bill. That is awesome (although I don't like their new one as much as previous).

Fireball Ministry would rule (if they still had Janis Tanaka).

You're coming to the NY show right? You better! :muahaha:

BTW Fireball Ministry and Pelican won't be on the bill that night. We do get Nevermore and *shudder* Into Eternity though.
