I've loved The Police since I was a kid. I think this is the first and only tour they're going to do again, so I had to do it. I even cancelled one of my band's shows so I could see them...it was my side project, and they weren't happy, but IT'S THE FUCKING POLICE. I told them they could fire me if they wanted, but I was going to see The Police anyway. They were just jealous.

It's at Heineken Jammin' Festival in Venezia, so it's gonna be hot and muggy but they play around 9 at night so it should be nice. Alanis Morissette is also playing along with Counting Crows...meh. Chris Cornell played last night and I was bummed that I couldn't go but I'll feel better when they start playing Message in a Bottle.
