Gonna do something...

Well I'm planning on saving up money to open up a metal club here in Dallas,
don't know how much I'll need but It will get done...it will get done.
Maybe I'll call it DIME-BONICS. I'll even have some comedy and art contests every now and then. And when my band gets organized we'll play too.
We are DARKWIND, by the way my friend heres this name and thinks of a foul fart.

later . :loco:

how about being a promoter and booker for other bands and earn money that way to save up for your club.. or lease some warehouse space and give the landlord a % of the income take as rent.. etc.. other ideas is to write a business plan or find "angel" investors etc.. just some ideas.. <shrugs> ....

you're smart. I think I'll look into this more and try to figure something out,
Thanks man.

Another idea is to get a mortgage to buy out a small building/warehouse to make into a rock/metal club... at least you will be getting equity for your monthly payments.. if your credit is not strong enough to get a mortgage perhaps get a business partner or co signer with good credit... you can always sell it later on at a profit and buy a bigger or better building.. on days/nights you do not have the club open you can rent it out as a catering hall or something to help pay the mortgage and/or rents depending if you lease the property or buy it.... :)

good luck with the metal venue idea madcheese, its not an easy proposition, but i'm sure if you work hard at it,it will work out well-i've found that theres nothing better than working for yourself, cause all the money earned is yours, not some lazy fuck who sits there while you do his stuff for him.

all i can say is,good luck!!
shame i live about 4,000 miles from texas, otherwise i'd come in with ya on it.!
