Good 7 String Guitars

What would you suggest for someone looking to purchase a 7. I'd rather stay away from Ibanez. I've also been looking at the Schecter BlackJack, and the Elite7 but i haven't got a chance to try one out. I've always wanted an ESP M-307 but...I think they were discontinued.

Also, for the money, the Conklin Groove Tools 7 strings are incredible.. The guitarist in my band has two.. Check them out!!

Carvin is not an entry level instrument like the cheaper LTDs.

You could also try Jacaranda guitars, they have a great looking 7 string (macassar ebony top, wenge neck, etc). But they're a bit expensive.

I own a Schecter 007 elite and its great. Only complaint: no floyd.

I have a Schecter USA custom shop sunset-7 (wasn't custom for me, I bought it used, but basically mint); it's a superb guitar; plays great, sounds incredible the neck pocket is the best I've ever seen on a bolt-on.

USA Schecters seem to be an excellent deal in the used market as well (this was ~$2600 originally, I got it for ~$800; that's a bad thing if you're buying new and want it to hold it's value, but it's sweet for us used guitar buyers )
