Some kind of complain about Fate of Norns here too.
i personnally think its the weakest album as well after further listen. at first i was happy about it but i got through it quite fast compared to the older albums which i still spin regularly in my CD player.

Fate of Norns is the album that made me a Amon Amarth Fan. The songs with the epic guitar-melodies and the brutality of the drums plus the strong voice of Johan, that is the perfect mix!!!
Another great point are the lyrics, there are awesome! Especially the story that is told in the songs "Arson" and "Once sealed in blood" (the last 2 songs on FoN) !
So buy it, buy it!!! You´ll love it!

well.. for guitar melodies, awsome drums, strong vocals and especially brutality, i think VS the World is the best in mixing all these ingrediants.
i actually find Fate of Norns quite weak for those except Once Sealed in blood for brutality, Ancient sign[..] for drums and the Fate of Norns for melodies.
but to each his own.
true the lyrics are pretty cool, but its no exception in AA's discography.
