Hello, all,

I am Narziss. I think about things, and I have a certain appreciation for Heavy Metal music, though that is certainly not the end of my musical appreciation. I am also seriously into a beginner's understanding and appreciation of Classical music (Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, etc.) in counterpoint to the anticlassical "Romantic" music that masquerades as Classical to the indiscriminate (Wagner, Liszt, Mahler, etc.).

As another of my interests is human psychology and metaphysics - something together one might term "philosophy" - I approach Metal from a double-layered perspective: It is something my bestial Ego (body-image living within my mind) appreciates on a sensual, emotional, and conceptual level, and it is also something I find classical artistic irony in at the superior, human, cognitive level.

That's about all that's relevent to note about me at this time, methinks. I hope to share my ideas and gain new ones regarding reality and whatever philosophical insights Metal and its devoted, optimistic fans have to share.

My interests include metaphysics, and philosophy, too... along with Norse/Aryan mythology and linguistics. But I'm sure I wouldn't be able to debate with you on most issues. You knowledge seems most profound.

The purpose of debate is not victory, it is spiritual development. You fuck with me with your words, I fuck you back, and hopefully we both gain something, even if it is an understanding of our ignorance in relative areas. You are obviously a specialist in a different area of Philosophy than I am; you have had a different set of life experiences and concocted a different approach to things. That makes you worth talking to, all the more so if you're self-consciously a philosopher.
