good heavens the cold is seeping through the windows

Dear Dr. Goatschool:

I have this problem too. Currently, we have black plastic bags taped up with duct tape, but air still seeps in. Or is it out? I guess from that one example my 8th grade science teacher Mr. Dunehew gave, the air particles in hot air bounce around a lot more than those in cold air, so in the summer would it be true that the hot air outside is pummeling the windows and seeping in, but in winter, the hot air inside is bouncing out, creating cold? He ate fried grasshoppers, so I ended up discounting most of his teachings.

Maybe I should use duck tape instead. Please advise.
